As an Accredited Certifier (Category B1) under the Building Professionals Board Accreditation Scheme, we are able to be appointed as the Principal Certifying Authority (PCA) for land subdivisions (subject to local LEP limitations).
The PCA is the authority who is required to issue the final subdivision clearance by endorsing the plan of subdivision. Once signed, the subdivision plan can be lodged with the NSW Dept of Lands for registration, and separate titles are created for new allotments.
As with Complying Development, our appointment as PCA is dependent on Council’s Local Environmental Plan accepting private Certifiers in that role.
