Principal Certifying Authority (Subdivision)

The role of the PCA is that of coordinating full compliance with the conditions of Development Consent.  Opportunities at this stage are limited by Council Local Environmental Plans, but certain minimum inclusions have been established by State Environmental Planning Policy 60.

In the subdivision field, the major responsibility of the PCA is to issue the Subdivision Certificate.  This certificate authorises the registration of the subdivision plan which subsequently enables the issue of separate titles for each allotment created.
